# KnowEntry > KnowEntry is a 24/7 AI news aggregator and sector intelligence platform. It aggregates AI news continuously from established publishers across six categories. It also produced Canary 2.0 — a research project that ran from February to June 2026, applying quantitative sentiment analysis and narrative monitoring to the AI sector. KnowEntry has two distinct components: a news aggregator updated every 10–60 minutes around the clock, and the archived output of Canary 2.0, a completed research project whose methodology, results, and conclusions are documented on this site. ## News Sections - [General AI](https://knowentry.com/): Broad AI news from publishers including The Verge, ZDNet, The Guardian, The Register, Fortune, and Fast Company. It scored AI sector news articles daily using Claude Haiku, computed sentiment across six industry categories, and developed the Semantic Volatility Index — an open-research composite indicator for detecting narrative regime shifts. The project concluded on 4 June 2026 following completion of its pre-registered hypothesis test. Canary 2.0 was an open research project. The methodology, sub-components, and calibration approach are publicly documented. There was no commercial product, no licence, and no proprietary system. - [Project Conclusion and Final Report](https://knowentry.com/canary-conclusion/): The complete final report. Pre-registered hypothesis test results (null result — no significant relationship found between sentiment changes and next-day returns), what the SVI detected during live operation, what was learned, and why the project concluded. A follow-up study is in the planning stage. - [How Canary Works](https://knowentry.com/how-canary-works/): Full explanation of the methodology — LLM-based article scoring, relevance weighting, statistical significance testing, and narrative frame classification. - [Canary Dashboard](https://knowentry.com/canary-dashboard/): The final state of the dashboard as of 4 June 2026. No longer updating. Six AI sector categories with 95% confidence intervals, statistical significance flags, a 14-day heatmap, narrative frame distribution, and the Semantic Volatility Index. - [Canary Sentiment Scores](https://knowentry.com/canary-sentiment-scores/): Explanation of the -1 to +1 scoring scale, relevance weighting, confidence intervals, and significance testing. - [Canary Narrative Frames](https://knowentry.com/canary-narrative-frames/): Eight mutually exclusive narrative frames: Growth Momentum, Technical Breakthrough, Financial Results, Regulatory Risk, Geopolitical Risk, Competitive Threat, Market Correction, and Macro Environment. - [Semantic Volatility Index (SVI)](https://knowentry.com/semantic-volatility-index/): An open-research early-warning indicator (0–100) aggregating five sub-components — Sentiment Volatility (SC1), Within-Day Dispersion (SC2), Narrative Shift (SC3), Vocabulary Drift using Jensen-Shannon Divergence (SC4), and Frame Distribution Shift using Jensen-Shannon Divergence (SC5). Not a proprietary or commercial system. - [AI Sector Sentiment Tracker](https://knowentry.com/ai-sector-sentiment/): Overview of what AI sector sentiment means and how Canary tracked it. - [Canary FAQ](https://knowentry.com/canary-faq/): Answers to common questions about Canary methodology. Includes confirmation that the pre-registered hypothesis test found no significant relationship between sentiment changes and next-day stock returns, and that the SVI is open research, not proprietary. ## About - [About KnowEntry](https://knowentry.com/about-knowentry-com/): KnowEntry is maintained by Roger.
